This steel was air cooled, so the pearlite is too fine to be
resolved here.
I made all three photomicrographs at 500X.
The outer edge of the specimen is at the right of the first
photomicrograph.

The second photomicrograph overlaps the first one.

The third photomicrograph came from near the center of the
piece.
