B 50-INCH DRILL.
Round and Square Tables.

The square table drill is similar in all respects to following description with exception of table, which is 36 x 26 inches, being gibbed to bracket arm and moved by screw.

The round table drill is similar style to 36-inch, page 72; has straight column, well braced; will drill and counter-
bore 8-inch holes; base plate, 72x30 inches; table, 30 inches diameter, carefully fitted and turns in bracket arm; raises and lowers 13 inches by worm and worm gear and swings on column; automatic geared feed, 3 changes; steel spindle, counterbalanced and quick return; may be operated by either hand or power feed; bored to suit Morse Standard Twist Drill Tapers; has vertical traverse of 16½ inches; greatest distance spindle to base plate, 51½ inches; shortest distance, 18½ inches; largest distance spindle to table, 33½ inches; adjustment of sliding head, 16 inches; sliding head and spindle have each independent balance weights; driving cone, 4 sections, back geared, giving 8 speeds to spindle; counter-cone; pulleys, 16x3¾ to run 200 turns per minute, placed on base plate, giving a long belt between cones.
