Stanley No.984 corner brace is stamped with U.S. Patent No.1,915,245,
which is not
in DATAMP; the patent applies to the means by which the
spindle is secured to the body of the brace, even though the patent is
drawn with a conventional brace in mind. However, the detail image of
the actual brace shows that the setscrew-affixed knurled nut does
indeed function just like the Fig.2/Fig.6 nut in the condensed patent
drawing, which is better viewed separately in your browser.
