Saw-16 Condition:
Straight
and sharp, with no pitting and a blue-black patina of magnetite
remaining after I scraped off the red rust with a dull chisel. The
4-1/2 points per inch teeth are really filed crosscut, which is odd for
such a short saw. The securely attached handle has only a truncated upper horn to worry about. The etch is unreadably faint but seems consistent with the medallion's manufacturer, E.C. Simmons.
