Condition: Sharp, smooth, & very straight, except for some ripples at the nib end and a few spots of pitting. Nib is intact (enlarge one of the two upper images to view).

The apple handle only has a chipped upper horn and a couple of tight checks on the back side.

Medallion
 The Warranted Superior medallion isn't of much help in dating this saw; I got the D-8 identification from the very indistinct etch. The D-16 handle is a replacement, as the saw screws don't fit flush to the wood.
