Saw-40 Price: $40.00 plus shipping Condition: Dead straight, sharp enough, smooth, with a uniform blue-black patina of the magnetite left after I scraped off all the red rust with a sharpened chisel. The etch will be interesting to uncover; right now, it is obscured by the aforesaid magnetite coating (which serves to protect the steel from rusting to some extent). The D-8 style apple handle is nearly perfect with a rich mahogany color, the tiniest of chips off the rear corner of the lower horn, and tight checks in the lower front hand opening.
