No. 1 Style eggbeater drill.
Type 0 - Prior to any of my Millers falls catalogs.
Here are the two Type 0 drills side by side.  The second example is the upper one.
The only difference that I can discern is that the main spindle of the first example has a slight taper at the handle end, whereas the second example's spindle is cylindrical there.  Both chucks are very simple - bifurcated longitudinally, with an internally tapered closing nut.  I'd like to think that these drills originally came with a set of diamond points and a tiny little wrench for tightening the chuck - all inside the "match safe" handle, with its too-strong helical spring closure.
