Millers Falls No.1 eggbeater drill; this sorry example has lost its chuck.
Type 4 - New, longer main handle to accommodate spirally fluted drill bits.
The new handle is shown in contrast to that of Type 1 at bottom. Note also that there is now a long, tapered crank for applying the greater torque needed for the new style bits.
