1861-1862	Des Arc, Ark.: The fugitive Rebel State government authorized a $10 million Bond issue to help pay for the War.  Acting as his father's Chief Clerk, it was Ben. U. Massey's duty to affix his father's signature and the State Seal to these bonds.	5; 37
